About
August 5, 2008
Crafts & Kisses is a Valentine-themed craft fair in Washington, DC!
Crafts & Kisses will return on Sunday, February 8, 2009!
The fair will take place at the Josephine Butler Parks Center at 2437 15th St NW next to Malcolm X/Meridian Hill Park, on Sunday, February 8 from 12noon to 6pm.
What: 25 crafters selling unusual handmade items and special gifts, including handknit, sewn and screenprinted apparel for men/women/kiddies; jewelry; valentines and cards; handmade books; soap and skincare products; handbags; handspun wool; pottery; leather belts and cuffs; and other items for walls/homes/wardrobes/bodies/brains/hearts.
What else: Music, treats to eat and drink, goodie bags to the first 50 visitors, and more!
Note to crafters: Since I’m just one person and space is very limited, I streamlined this year’s fair by making it invite-only, so I can’t accommodate any requests to participate, despite all the great things being made out there. Sorry!

Hello!
I know that it is very close to the crafts and kisses craft show but I was wondering if you were still accepting any new vendors. If not, can you keep me updated on any other upcoming shows you might be organizing.
Thanks!

Hi Nancy! The show is totally full and I’ve had to turn away lots of great potential vendors, but I’m saving everyone’s email so I can let them know if I do this again.
Thanks for your interest!

Moira,
As I see from the dialog, there are no openings for new vendors. I would love to be on the list for an invitation to have a booth at future events! My business is Artsy Fartsy and I create unique jewelry from recycled plastic. The pieces are colorful and fun, suitable for all ages and very affordable with items from $20 to $200. Please take a look at my site and consider me for next year. I hope to come by on Sunday and shop! I read about you on Daily Candy. Best wishes for a very profitable show!! Susi D

I read about your event in the live Washington Post chat with the Going Out Gurus. Please add me to your list for next year–I make small knitted items (scarves, etc.) as well as beaded jewelry. Thanks–I hope the show does well!

Is this actually in the park (i.e. outside)? If so can I bring my dog along?
